It is coming to that time of the year again for us at Shutter Shock Photography when we attend 3 major truck convoys.
Starting off with the Lowood Truck Show on Saturday the 26th of August, this event kicks off at 11.00 am at the Lowood Showgrounds. It commences with a convoy starting at the showgrounds, through town and finishing back at the showgrounds. Then get ready for a day of fun, market stalls, trophy presentations for various categories and then kick on into the evening with live music. Money raised from this great event goes to Autism Queensland. Check out their Facebook Page for further details:

Then we roll on to the big one. The Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial 2017. This year it is on the Queen's Birthday long weekend (Saturday September 30th & Sunday October 1st). Commencing with the LOTH Convoy, trucks will be leaving from both ends at Withcott and Dinmore as they did last year; and roll into Gatton where they will park up at the Gatton Showgrounds. The Saturday consists of the 2 convoys, market stalls, rides for the kids and plenty of great live music to party on into the night. Then on the Sunday the memorial service takes place at the Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial Wall at Apex Park, Gatton. Then back to the Showgrounds. This is a fun but also a very emotional time, especially for Chris being a truckie and having friends on the memorial wall. We are both so proud to be part of this great event. Money raised from this event will benefit Avery’s Angels Gastroschisis Foundation. For further details check out their Facebook page or website:

Another great event we love to be a part of is the Brisbane Convoy for Kids. This year the convoy again kicks off from Heathwood and rolls into the Redcliffe Showgrounds on Saturday the 4th of November. This event assists kids by raising money for Hummingbird House and has a huge turnout of fine machines both large and small. The day commences with the convoy and continues with trophy presentations, market stalls, auctions and plenty of great live music to party on into the night.
